Galera Go is a mobile application operated by ISLANDLINK I.T. SOLUTIONS, located at Balatero, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. We provide on-demand transport booking services in Puerto Galera and surrounding areas.

We collect the following categories of information when you use Galera Go:

Information you provide:

• Full name, phone number, and email address (on registration)
• Profile photo (optional)
• Payment information (processed through our payment provider — we do not store raw card data)

Information collected automatically:

• Precise GPS location while the app is in use (required to show nearby drivers and track your trip)
• Device identifiers (device model, OS version, push notification token)
• App usage data (screens viewed, bookings made, errors encountered)
• IP address and approximate location

Driver-specific information:

• Vehicle details (plate number, make, model, type)
• Driver's license and government-issued ID (for verification)
• Continuous GPS location while online and during active trips

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Match passengers with nearby drivers (dispatch)
• Provide real-time trip tracking
• Process payments and generate receipts
• Send booking confirmations, driver arrival alerts, and ride status notifications
• Calculate driver earnings and commissions
• Resolve disputes and provide customer support
• Improve app performance and detect fraud
• Comply with applicable Philippine laws and regulations

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

• Between passengers and drivers: When a booking is matched, the driver sees your name and pickup location. The passenger sees the driver's name, photo, vehicle details, and real-time location.
• Service providers: We use third-party services for payment processing, push notifications, maps, and analytics. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your data to provide services to us.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity under the same privacy protections.

Galera Go requires access to your device's location to function. Location data is used to:

• Identify your pickup point
• Show available drivers near you
• Track the trip route in real time
• Calculate distance and fare

For passengers, location access is requested while the app is in use. For drivers, background location access is required during active trips to provide accurate tracking to passengers.

You can revoke location permissions in your device settings at any time, but doing so will prevent core app functionality from working.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking history and financial records are retained for a minimum of 3 years to comply with applicable tax and business regulations. If you delete your account, personal identifiers are removed; anonymized transaction records may be retained for audit purposes.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for data in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Galera Go is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at admin@galerago.com if you believe a child's data has been collected.

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing (where processing is based on consent)
• Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission
