Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the Galera Go mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and ISLANDLINK I.T. SOLUTIONS ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Galera Go. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Galera Go is a technology platform that connects passengers seeking transport services with independent drivers operating in Puerto Galera and surrounding areas. We provide:

• On-demand and scheduled transport booking
• Real-time driver tracking
• In-app fare estimation and payment
• Trip history and receipts
• Driver earnings management (for driver accounts)

ISLANDLINK I.T. SOLUTIONS is a technology company, not a transport company. Drivers using our platform are independent service providers, not employees or agents of ISLANDLINK I.T. SOLUTIONS.

To use Galera Go you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a safety risk.

As a passenger, you agree to:

• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations
• Be ready at the pickup point within a reasonable time after driver arrival
• Treat drivers respectfully and follow all traffic and safety laws during the trip
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Not bring prohibited items (weapons, illegal substances) into a driver's vehicle
• Pay the confirmed fare in full

As a driver, you agree to:

• Hold a valid Philippine driver's license and all required permits for the vehicle you operate
• Keep your vehicle in roadworthy condition
• Maintain adequate insurance coverage
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Treat all passengers with respect
• Only accept and complete trips through the Galera Go Driver app
• Not solicit separate cash payment for trips dispatched through the platform

Fare estimates are provided before booking confirmation. Final fares may vary due to route changes, waiting time, or other factors disclosed in the app. All fares are displayed in Philippine Pesos (PHP).

We reserve the right to modify pricing structures, commissions, and service fees. Drivers will be notified of commission changes in advance. Passengers will see the current fare at the time of booking.

All payments made through the app are subject to our payment processing terms. We are not responsible for failures of third-party payment providers.

You may cancel a booking before a driver accepts it at no charge. Cancellations after driver acceptance may incur a cancellation fee as disclosed in the app at the time of cancellation. Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.

Both passengers and drivers may rate each other after a completed trip. Ratings must be honest and reflect genuine experiences. We may remove accounts with sustained low ratings or evidence of abusive conduct.

You agree not to post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews of drivers or passengers.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
• Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm any other user
• Create fake accounts or manipulate ratings
• Circumvent the platform to arrange rides outside the App with drivers you met through Galera Go

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Philippine law, ISLANDLINK I.T. SOLUTIONS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or the transport services arranged through it.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee the availability, timeliness, or quality of transport services. ISLANDLINK I.T. SOLUTIONS is not responsible for the conduct of drivers or passengers.

All content, branding, and software in the Galera Go app are the property of ISLANDLINK I.T. SOLUTIONS or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines.
